The first Pilot Micro-Factory is now a reality

UNICATUM Micro-Factory opened officially on the 20th of November 2009, in Kaiserslautern, Germany. The new store and the Micro-Factory are now open to the public. The Prime Minister of Rhineland-Palantine, Mr. Kurt Beck, attended the official opening of the store.

The micro-factory introduces an important concept with potentially important social implications in a time of rising unemployment. All workers have been selected from a list of experienced unemployed personnel in the region
